HUMANIZING THE HOMELESS
Influenced by the story of my mother Sara who was homeless at the age of three. For the past six years I have been traveling, with my dad, to cities throughout the world photographing people experiencing homelessness and recording their stories. I have just completed volume four of my book series entitled Nowhere to Call Home--Photographs and Stories of the Homeless.
With these books I am trying to humanize people experiencing homelessness and shine a spotlight on their plight. I have taken this quote by Mother Teressa as the motto for her project, “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”
100% of the profits of this work go back to homeless shelters.
